Our Fall Snow Day!

I've spent all day trying to keep these heads away from the window and focused on school!

The third head is Tyler, a little guy who will staying with us three days a week. Today was his first day. He was delightful and the kids all seemed to have a great time! Tyler loves to read and loves Thomas, so you can't really go wrong with that in this house!

All of a sudden we had enough to go play!

Happy girl! (At least this time she has snow clothes on... She escaped barefoot more than once today - and had no inclination to come back in!)

Mattie and Tyler wrestling.

Tyler loved the snow!

Jacob's proud of his first snowball!

Mattie too!

What a treat to have snow at all, Jacob! We don't usually get much here, and I'd love some! Something's wrong when you southerners get snow before we do.

Maybe we'll have snow for Christmas! Wouldn't that be fun?!

That's so neat! You all go so much more snow than we did. Nothing stuck here! That is a great use of the trampoline-keeps them off the wet ground. I think it would be 'dryer' on the trampoline. Fun!!

It has been snowing for about 12 hours and still nothing is staying on the ground. :(

How fun! Supposedly we got flurries, but I never saw any at my house. :-(
I LOVE the silhouette shot in front of the window! Beautiful! It looks like the kids had such a blast! Forget about school on a day like that and have FUN in the snow!

Wow, Mattie is beautiful! I've seen those adorable eyes before but I never noticed just how BIG they are! She is so cute! And Jacob too - although I venture to think he'll want to be called handsome instead.
